Bill to Keep Property Services Employees Moves to Senate

The Senate Appropriations Committee on Monday passed a bill that requires “property services” employers to keep a predecessor’s employees on the job for at least 60 days. But opponents like the California Chamber of Commerce California Chamber of Commerce say the measure undermines the at-will employment presumption in California.
