California minimum-wage bill goes to committee

“Assemblyman Luis Alejo, a Democrat from Salinas, has introduced a bill that would incrementally raise California’s minimum wage to $9.25 by 2016 and link future increases to inflation.” (Sacramento Business Journal, April 23, 2013).
