California Muscles Its Way Through Health Reforms

Vince Sollitto, spokesman for the California Chamber of Commerce, says the Democrats’ plan pushed by Nunez and Perata relies too heavily on taxing employers who don’t offer health insurance. The governor’s proposal would do more to share the responsibility, he says, by also charging medical providers. He says the Democrats’ plan “runs the risk of creating yet another government health care program that is underfunded, which will require a massive infusion of revenue over time.” Read More.
