Editorial: As end nears, Legislature should do no harm

“The state Legislature is scheduled to adjourn Friday for the year. It’s likely most legislators are eager to get out of town and on to their next top priority: getting reelected in November.

We implore them: First, do no harm during the final spasms of lawmaking. Then, we hope legislators also consider undoing some harm already done. With only a week to go, that may be asking too much.” (Orange County Register, August 27, 2012). Read it here.
