Editorial: Manufacturing rises in U.S., falls in state

“For California, things are not going as well as nationally, Jack Stewart told us; he’s the president of the California Manufacturers & Technology Association. He said that, from January 2010 to November 2012, U.S. manufacturing grew 4.2 percent. During the same period, California manufacturing dropped 0.2 percent.” (OC Register, February 1, 2013).
