Indiana seeks to lure California companies
“The state of Indiana has launched a marketing campaign to urge California businesses to relocate to the Hoosier state.
In the last seven years, 1,350 companies have moved to Indiana from other states, said Indiana Secretary of Commerce Dan Hassler. Two of them were from California: Hycor Biomedical moved from Garden Grove to Indianapolis in 2011 and Fleetwood Enterprises, founded in 1950 by the late John Crean of Santa Ana Heights, moved to Decatur, Ind., in 2009.” (Orange County Register, July 18, 2012).
