‘Job Killers’ Raise Costs, Drive Agriculture Production Out of State

(July 23, 2012) Policy Advocates Jennifer Barrera and Marti Fisher discuss two CalChamber-opposed “job killer” bills, AB 1313 (Allen; D-Santa Rosa) and AB 2346 (Butler; D-Los Angeles), that would drive up the cost of food and commodities to consumers and would create burdensome and unnecessary regulatory rules on agricultural employers that could force them out of California.
