Killing the Goose with Rules

They’re called job-killer bills, and you can probably guess why. California business officials have identified 27 such pieces of legislation making their way through the state Legislature’s labyrinth. Among other things, the proposed legislation would impose new penalties if an employer fails to pay wages, increase the personal income tax for the highest earners, and prohibit arbitration of claims arising under the California Labor Code.
