Regulations, Taxes Creating Bad CA Jobs Climate

Yesterday, Chief Executive Magazine released its annual business climate survey, ranking California last based on CEO concerns about high state taxes and overly stringent regulations. The CEOs believe the hostile business climate has driven investment, companies and jobs to other states.

The Los Angeles Times reported that 254 California companies “moved some or all of their work and jobs elsewhere – 26% more than 2010.” The Chief Executive Magazine survey quotes “most chief executives in Silicon Valley” as saying they won’t expand in the state.
